During
the 1940's when Mahan announced his revolutionary Kundalini Yoga in
Madurai, lot of orthodox priests and religionists were up in arms against
Mahan for daring to expose the real truths. They sent a powerful
spell-caster (bomoh) to destroy Mahan. This spell-caster started his evil
spells somewhere in the neighbourhood of Mahans residence. A few weeks
later Mahan told some disciples to go to the spell-casters
residence and save him as this guy was dying. The disciples went to
this guys residence and found him in an unconscious state .They managed
to revive him and brought him to Mahan. The spell-caster apologized
profusely and said he had underestimated Mahan's powers. He said Mahan was
covered in a ring of fire and all his chants and spells bounced back.
