First experience with Kundalini Yoga

On the 20th October 1976, I went to Upper Serangoon Road ,Singapore to meet His Holiness Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan. I showed Mahan an introductory letter given by Guru Paranjothi K.Velu (who was initiated in 1953). Mahan read the letter and asked me to bring in my travel bag which was near the door. Mahan then asked me to wash up and then to sit on the tiger skin in the initiation room. After initiating me, Mahan left the room. While I was meditating, I suddenly heard like a tigers roar. I was a bit shaken up and slowly opened my eyes. I saw an elderly woman sitting in the room meditating. She was having breathing problems which sounded to me like a tigers roar. I was not aware of Mahan bringing her into the room to meditate.
