When
Mahan was in Malaysia, a disciple asked a question: If I place my thought
on the forehead eye (3rd eye), will i be successful in my business
deals....Answer: No not necessarily ..you will be more intuitive and
that itself will help you weigh the decisions --the pros and cons which
will help you decide logically. Santhosham.
Ponggal, a
day for paying homage to nature and the sun for making life on earth
possible. We should also pay homage to the 3rd eye in us with great
respect. Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan had once said the the power of the
3rd.eye is equivalent to a million suns. To my finite mind i just cannot
understand the implications of this powerful statement. I leave with
readers to draw their own conclusions.Santhosham.
In
1977 when Mahan was in Malaysia at the Klang Road Sabhai--Lorong Morib,
one disciple approached and lamented that he could not feel the
awareness (unarvu). Mahan instructed him to go outside to the compound
and stand barefooted on the grass there. The disciple did as instructed
and about 10 minutes later he felt a surge of current coming up thru his
legs from the grass engulfing him. It
was quite pleasant. After a few minutes Mahan asked him to come
inside. Mahan asked me to fetch a glass of water which was given to the
disciple. After that the disciple was asked to meditate and now he could
feel the Awareness very well. Sometimes Mahan does this kind of things
just to amuse us and make us think. Santhosham.
If you
are a Kundalini Practitioner you can try this experiment. The next time
you go to a restaurant which is hardly crowded, just order your food and
wait.Very shortly you may find more people coming in and the restaurant
will be packed. It works all the time. The logic behind this is
vibrations- because of your high vibrations the whole area (the
restaurant) will be resonating with high positive energy and thus
attracting customers. Dont be surprised--it works all the time. The
restaurant owner will make his profit because of you.Try it.Santhosham.
First
type is like a blind man--have to depend on others to relay info to
them(usually wrong info). The 2nd type is like a deaf person--when Guru
says right they hear it as white. The 3rd type is like a dumb
person--they know what is right and what is wrong but wont talk about
it--their motto--to each his own poison. The 4th type is very rational
and sensible--wont simply accept anything without deep investigation. Now
which category do you belong to? Santhosham.
Kundalini
practitioners must be careful of their thoughts. Sometimes a casual
thought will manifest as a reality. Its ok if the thought is positive but
when the thought is negative the results can be disastrous because the
Kundalini tends to amplify your thoughts. Watch your thoughts carefully
and as Mahan always advises THOUGHTS -WORDS AND ACTION must always be
compliment each other. Santhosham.
The
awakened Kundalini energy for one who practices Kundalini Yoga is a
double edged sword. On one hand it can bestow wonderful benefits like
health-wealth-peace of mind and knowledge of the Truth to the practitioner
and on the other hand it can also attract unfortunate events and misery
in ones life. The deciding factor here is GOOD THOUGHTS. If you have
them you are safe. Mahan has also always mentioned Good thoughts as a
powerful tonic for the brain. So take heed and always have good
thoughts.

Nowadays
there is a frenzy for some disciples to become Gurus. Its good if they
are qualified and if their resident Guru finds them suitable.....but
unfortunately in most cases it is not so....so what the disciples will
do is to go to India and seek some Gurus there --pay some money about
Rm.-1000-3000 to get initiated into Guruship. They will return to
Malaysia --start a centre and propagate
Mahan's philosophy adulterated with other disciplines such as Yoga
exercises, breathing techniques etc. Mahan never for once
incorporated these disciplines in his philosophy. Even during Mahan's era
disciples will clamor to become Gurus and Mahan will just laugh it
off. Sometimes back I was introduced to a Guru. I was happy and asked as
to where his centre is and how many he has initiated. I was totally
surprised and bewildered at his answer....'no sir I have never initiated
anybody--it was my wife who plodded me to become a Guru as our
neighbor has become a Guru and his wife proudly bragged about to my
wife. So my wife wanted to show the neighbor that her husband can also
become a Guru....so I went to India, found a Guru ...paid Rm.3000 and
received the Guruship. With due respect to all the genuine Gurus there
are too many fake Gurus walking about. So if you are new and want to get
initiated into Kundalini Yoga--check out the Guru first.
Now there are disciples who will go to one Guru--learn
something and then seek another Guru possibly to learn some other things
and after sometimes still search for another Guru. This merry go round
will go on and on and at last they will find their knowledge stunted. It
would be wise to stick to one Guru (you have to search for a good one)
and enrich yourself materially and spiritually. The desire to seek a Guru
is actually the subconscious prompting to have a better life thru
higher knowledge.SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND.
There is a secret point in your body where your
thoughts get magnified. Together with other techniques your thoughts will
be very powerful. The secret point is between your eye-brows--the 3rd.
eye area. Come and learn the secrets which had been hidden for ages. ITS
FREE.
In the epic Mahabharata, there is a character by the
name of SAGUNI. This sly old fox is very cunning and shrewd. This guy
plays double game and causes enmity amongst friends and
relations. Kundalini practitioners must be very careful not to portay any
of Saguni's characteristics....if not the Kundalini power in you will
teach you a lesson. This is where Mahan emphasizes the power of good
thoughts which will be a tonic for the brain and thought waves. So have
good thoughts and enjoy your meditation and have a good life.
There are all kinds of Psychic Energy in this world. Some
good, some evil, some negative, some positive. We can all make use of these
energies thru certain centres which lay hidden in the body and brain for
our own benefit. Kundalini energy will be the best method to rejuvenate
these centres. Those practising Kundalini Yoga-A Big Hurrah for you.
To all Kundalini aspirants : Due
to its immense importance, we are posting again this article. Your pineal
gland soaks up sodium fluoride and calcifies it. For those practicing
Kundalini Yoga meditation, it would be difficult to tune in to higher
spiritual frequencies. Sodium fluoride is found in your tap water--tooth
paste etc. It would be wise to use Reverse Osmosis (RO) or distilled water and try to
find non-fluoridated tooth paste. Please Google 'Jennifer Luke' for more
details on fluoride. Jennifer made public this info in the 90's after in
depth investigation on the negative effects of sodium fluoride.
Some
members after getting the initiation will have a kind of pleasant
feeling or awareness in the 3rd.eye and the top-eye areas. Sometimes it
will be intense and sometimes lukewarm. The trick now is how to make use
of these sensations for ones own benefit eg.
health-business-relationships-employment---to
be free from unnecessary worries-protection against enemies and much
more. Please check with your respective Gurus as to how to fully harness
this divine awareness for everyday uses.
Sometimes
in the year 1977, when Mahan was at the Singapore Sabhai at Upper
Serangoon Road , one disciple came to seek Mahan's help for some office
related problems. Mahan advised the disciple to slowly eat an apple with
full awareness thinking of the related problem. The disciple went away
happily to try out this technique.
Once in the year 1978, when Mahan was in
Malaysia at the Klang Road Sabhai, some employees of TNB (formerly known as Lembaga Letrik Negara) brought one of their staff to get advice from Mahan. This guy
was exhibiting erratic behavior like getting angry unnecessarily
-scolding anyone at any time--sometimes not talking at all and other
funny behaviors. Mahan advised to take about 5 tablespoons of Aloe-Vera
pounded together with about 3 tablespoons of Fenugreek (Venthium in
Tamil and Halba in Malay)...Apply the mixture on top of the head for 3
hours in the morning for a total of 10 days. If catches cold then on
alternative days the treatment can be done. The scientific reasoning
for this treatment could be that since Aloe Vera and Fenugreek are
extremely cold inciting substances and for inflamed nerves (neurons) it
might cool them enough to elicit a healing response.
Once
in the year 1977 when Mahan was in Malaysia at the Klang Road Sabhai,
one new member had epilepsy (fits). While we were looking for some keys
for the guy to hold--Mahan asked someone to bring some onions. Mahan
crushed the onions in his hand and squeezed the juice into the guys
eyes. In a matter of minutes the guy got up cured temporarily with blood
shot eyes. All these techniques are useful for emergency treatment and in
the absence of modern medical facilities even though they may appear
crude.
Mahan advices everyone esp
housewifes to use crockery like plates, glasses, mugs made of glass. By
using crockery made of glass tends to make one very cautious when using
them as it might break or shatter easily. Over the long run the brain
becomes more alert and cautious even when in dealing in other domestic
situations.

After my initiation in 1976, I recommended to my
friend Rayan and his wife to also get initiated which they did. Rayans
wife was an Indian citizen and a year after the initiation she went to
visit her parents in India. She asked her father to accompany her to
Mahans Sabhai in Tiruvanjuli. Her father was a staunch Christian and of
course did not have any faith in Mahan but because
of his daughter he obliged. At the Sabhai, the father was a bit arrogant
and bluntly told Mahan he did not believe in Kundalini Yoga or its
philosopy.Mahan just laughed it off. After some time with Mahan and when
they were about leave the Sabhai, Mahan warned the man not keep his purse
in the shirt pocket as the area was notorious for pickpockets. The man
brushed off Mahans advise and said rather a bit arrogantly no one can
steal from him and they left. When they reached the Bus Terminal the man
found his pocket empty---his purse has mysteriously vanished or was it
stolen? They had some loose change which they managed to buy the tickets
back home.
Mahan has traveled to numerous countries and have of
course tasted all type of foods.Mahan has also tasted all kinds of food
in India itself. The place and food which really captivated him was in
Thanjavur, South India. He loved the people -the environment and the food
there. He also established a Sabhai there in Tiruvanjuli,Tanjore District. Next
time when visiting India must try out the local dishes in Thanjavur.
