Sometimes in 1977, when Mahan was in Malaysia at the Old Klang Road Sabhai, a young couple came to see Mahan to seek advice for their few months old baby. The baby will off and on tremble with a jerk .This was due to some kind of loud noise which shocked the baby. Mahan told the parents to take some cold water in the hand and strongly splash on the face of the baby 3 times when asleep thus rudely awakening the baby with a shock. This shock treatment can be done for a few times until the baby is back to normal. The rationale for this treatment would be since the baby suffered from a shock earlier, a few more shocks would reset the baby's system. Santhosham.
