The tips and experiences which Mahan shared and which we are sharing in this site are very general only. Some cannot be shared as all sorts of people with different mentalities all come and visit this site. Real inner secrets can only be shared privately to prevent misuse. Even now there are the "smart ones" who will visit this site and will remain anonymous and later will say they knew about this previously. Mahan has commented about this group of people in his epic work I-GOD.

Special techniques to boost up the vibratory rate of the Pineal and Pituitary glands

In 1976, Mahan was about to initiate me into the 3rd stage. As I sat on the ground and when Mahan was just about to start when at that moment an aeroplane was flying above us. Mahan asked me quickly to absorb the droning sound of the plane thru my top-eye. Later on he elaborated on another method of rejuvenating the top-eye. Whenever you sneeze at that moment concentrate on the top-eye. All these techniques are to periodically boost up the vibratory rate of the Pineal and Pituitary glands. Make a habit of absorbing soothing sounds thru the top and third eyes.

Blessings from Mahan for a successful Court case

In 1978, I was in the Sabhai with Mahan at about 11am in KL when a group of people came. I recognized them as my distant relatives. They were surprised to see me there. When they saw me doing all the work there, they proudly told Mahan that I was their close relation. Mahan looked at me and smiled. They presented some fruits and flowers to Mahan and seeked his blessings for an impending court case regarding their son who was involved in a accident. A few months later I heard they won the case and was awarded a sizeable amount of money.

A strange dream of boiling a buffalos eyes

When Mahan was in Malaysia in 1978, i had a strange dream. I dreamt of boiling a buffalos eyes--making it like soup and to drink it for various ailments. Next day, i told Mahan about the dream. He listened attentively and finally said one word.."Rubbish". So much for my dream.

Specially made chicken liver varuval for Mahan

As we all know, GP Mahan is a non -vegetarian. Once in 1980 in KL, an elderly lady disciple brought some specially made chicken liver varuval for Mahan. Mahan was moved by this gesture but then also remarked that people like him cannot eat liver. We were all puzzled and did not know what he meant. Liver precipitates a gouty attack but as far as we know Mahan didnt have gout. We never had chance to find out the truth of this incident. Is there some other mystical meaning for not eating chicken liver....we just dont know. We leave it for the readers of this column to draw their own conclusions.

GP Mahan and his Golden lock of hair.

In 1978, one disciple went to India to meet up with His Holiness. I wrote a letter to Mahan requesting a small tuft of his golden hair. Mahan graciously obliged and cut off a small tuft of hair and handed over to Mei.Palani and instructed him to give to me when he returns to Malaysia. Mei. Palani returned to Malaysia and handed over the invaluable golden hair. Over the years i have shared and given some strands of the Golden hair with close and devoted disciples.

Dress Code for disciples

Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan never advocated a formal dress code for disciples. As long as one is decently dressed and comfortable it is enough. Nowadays we see women disciples wearing all white. This has nothing to do with gaining Wisdom. Mahan used to wear a hair netting and removes it during meditation time. This was to ensure his long hair to be kept neatly and he also wears black socks so as to retain body heat. After Mahan's Samadhi, some Gurus both in India and Malaysia also started to wear hair netting and use black socks. Well good but we just wonder are they as magnanimous in Wisdom as Mahan did or did they posses Mahan's altruistic qualities? Some people will read and memorize Mahan's I-God and will rattle off to anyone who wants to hear Mahan's philosophy. It would be good if these people know what they are talking about. Mahans mentions in his I-God that it would be better for people to shine like gold rather than like brass.

GP Mahan and the muncher

A funny incident somewhere in a remote village in India. Mahan was in a village sometimes in the early 70's and gave initiation in the first stage to some people. Mahan told them to practise the 1st stage for 2 weeks and he will be back by then to give the 2nd stage. When Mahan returned he asked them them as to how they were practicing. One of them came forward and started munching (grinding the teeth) like a cow. Mahan had a good laugh and told the guy the grinding of the inner teeth was only for 3 days and that also very subtly and not munching like a cow. Sometimes people tend to get wrong info about the Kundalini practice. So dont get irritated when the Guru repeats certain aspects always. This is to make sure correct info is given out properly.

GP Mahan and the hot tempered guy

In 1980, some people brought a rather hot tempered man with a lot of personal issues to see Mahan. Mahan was in the initiation room with some disciple and this guy was in hall area making a lot of commotion and disturbing everyone. At this time Mahan came out of the room, grasped the situation, and just tapped the guys shoulder and went back inside to the initiation room. After this the guy was rather a bit quiet and then went back home. He returned next day and very enthusiastically wanted to get initiation from Mahan which he received. After that he was very regular in his visits to the Sabhai. There was a total transformation in him. When Mahan attained Samadhi in January 1981, we could not inform this guy due to faulty address. When he came to know of Mahan's samadhi, he came to the sabhai and scolded everyone as he was in a very emotional state. Mahan's tapping on his shoulder had somehow changed the guy.

GP Mahan and the Police Inspector

Sometimes in 1978, when Mahan was in Upper Serangoon road, Singapore, a group of Police Personnel came to visit Mahan. One of them (a Police Inspector) was very rude and belligerent towards Mahan. This irked Mahan so much that Mahan took out his shoe (Persian style shoe) to whack this policeman. Other Police intervened and controlled the situation. Mahan then warned that the Police Inspector should not step into Upper Serangoon Road again. Mahan had a good relationship with the Govt at that time. Usually Mahan maintains his cool but sometimes has to blow off a little steam so as to not let people take things for granted.

You pray me no use; You pray what i show you

In the late 70's when GP Mahan was in Malaysia, during a group meditation session, the hall was packed with Indian and Chinese disciples sitting on the floor. Mahan was trying to walk thru the middle of the wall when one Indian disciple (a popular TV Indian comedian) grabbed Mahan's feet lamenting that he had all kind of problems and wanted Mahan to help him. Mahan answered him in a little bit of English...."You pray me no use; You pray what i show you" and pointed towards his 3rd eye area. What Mahan was implying was not to have blind faith but to have more awareness in the 3rd eye to solve problems.

GP Mahan and the bread man

In 1977 when Mahan was in Kuala Lumpur, Mahan asked me to run an errand for him. Gave me a letter to deliver it to an old disciple (a bread vendor) somewhere in Petaling Jaya area. I was a bit saddened to carry out this task as i wont be able to take part in the Sabhai's activities on that day. Another disciple Mei.Anandarayer offered to take me there with his trusted Vespa scooter. After a few hours we managed to find the bread vendor in a Mosque area. He was wearing half pants ,without a shirt, and he was sweating profusely. He was fanning himself with a newspaper. I handed over Mahans letter and he was overjoyed and said he will come soon to the Sabhai to meet up with Mahan. Mahan was also happy that the job was done perfectly.

Special Technique to become Invisible

For all serious Kundalini Practitioners, there is one interesting technique you can use to become invisible temporarily. Lets say you are in a shopping mall and you don't want anybody whom you know to see you. Put a specific thought on your 3rd eye for a minute or so commanding that no one will be able to see you. If this properly done you might find that someone whom you know might pass you by, immersed in their own thoughts, without seeing you. This technique is just for fun---don't take it too seriously. This is also a prelude as to how to utilize your Kundalini Power for various others things.

Letters written by Mu.Varadarajan

I have in my possesion a tiny booklet. It is a collection of letters written by the famous novelist 'Mu.Varadarajan' (popularly known as Muva & Varatharasanar). He was famous for his literary work in Tamilnadu. In one of the letters, he mentions meeting up with His Holiness Gnanavallal Paranjothi Mahan. In it, he says how he was initiated by Mahan in the Kundalini practice and how it had helped enormously in his personal and writing career.

GP Mahan and the Apple

Sometimes in the early 60's when Mahan was in Malaysia, a senior disciple approached Mahan sadly informing that his daughter was in hospital for labour pains with some complication. His Holiness then bit an apple and gave the worried disciple and told him to go and give to his daughter. The disciple did that immediately and as expected everything went well and the daughter gave birth in a healthy manner.
